Between 2000 and 2004 Blackfoot underwent a complete refit, only the fixed woodwork remaining in the stripped out hull. Everything was either replaced, rebuilt or refurbished. No expense was spared either then or since, to keep Blackfoot in very good condition all round. We bought the boat in 2003 half finished and continued to work at finishing the jobs for a further year. Relaunched in July 2004 we have since sailed from the UK to France and across Biscay, to Gibraltar, the Balearic Islands, Sardinia, Sicily and on to Levkas in Greece. Since arriving in this part of the world we have explored all the Greek coastline, all the Turkish coastline and most of the islands in and around both countries. Age is finally catching up with us and sadly we have decided that it is time to sell.
